Advance Directives or Living Wills allow people to state what forms of medical
treatment they would or would not like carried out should they become unable to
decide or explain their wishes in the future.
A Living Will must be clearly expressed and drawn up when the patient is
mentally capable to be enforceable. We are happy to assist with this process.
It is important to note that your Living Will should be updated regularly (The
British Medical Association recommend review every five years) to ensure it
expresses your current view.
